Even rollicking, rhyming, good-timing picture books need Heart. Several years ago when I got a new computer, my son pulled my &quot;Where&#039;s the Heart?&quot; note off the old monitor and put it on the new one. I can&#039;t imagine getting better validation that what I do is important.

My advice to writers -- Keep that hard hat on when looking up paralyzes you, but yes, yes, give your creations Heart.</description>
