Picture Book Writing Class

Hosted by the Orcas Island Writers Festival, Deb Lund’s Picture Book Writing Class is geared to writers, would-be writers, and anyone interested in good books for children. Deb Lund is the author of several picture books, including her celebrated dinoseries and her latest book, Monsters on Machines, which received a starred review from Publisher’s Weekly. Bring munchies and a manuscript (or not) and participate (or observe) as Deb Lund shares what works and doesn’t work in picture books. Held in the Orcas Public Library Conference Room. You may register and pre-pay with the Orcas Island Writers Festival. $65.
